Omhyggeligt undersøgt og fremragende udformet, ’76 Vintage Dyna Comp har det samme kredsløb, der blev brugt i den originale Dyna Comp fra 1976, identisk med dets komponentlayout, silkscreen og håndlavede wire harness. Nøglekomponenten er CA3080 “metal can” integreret kredsløb (IC), som giver mere støjsvag drift, større gennemsigtighed og øget dynamikområde. Disse IC’er har været ude af produktion siden 80’erne, men MXR har sporet en masse af dem – nok til at producere en begrænset serie af disse små røde æsker med compression bliss. ’76 Vintage Dyna Comp “strammer” et guitarsignal, øger lydstyrken af stille toner og udjævner peaks for at skabe en rig, fyldig sustain.
